LHS Food Market Opens

The Lincoln High School Food Market opened its doors today in he cafeteria during 8th period and after school. The market provides free food to LHS students and their families.   Sponsored by the Lincoln Food Bank which secured private donations specifically for this project, the market will be open the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays

Student helpers and staff get ready to give out free food to students in need after school in the Cafeteria as part of the new LHS Food Market program. Any LHS student or family member can come pick up food on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.

Sponsored by the Lincoln Food Bank which secured private donations specifically for this project, the market will be open the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.

Posters are displayed around the school with more information, articles will be included in the LHS newsletter, and a Connect-Ed call will go out to all parents.

The LHS Special Education Department helps with set-up in the cafeteria, and the Social Studies Department will be working with student volunteers for GoPo volunteer hours.
