On December 19th Karen Zomi Karenni (KZK) Club will be holding a “Show of Diverse Talents” at Lincoln High’s Ted Sorensen Theatre at 7:00 p.m. They’re inviting KZK club members to perform, as well as any other students that would like to. This year the club is expanding to involve community dance groups such as the Orgullo Latino, India Association of Nebraska Lincoln dance group, Ground Zero, Karen dance group, Middle Eastern club dance, VietStar group and various groups. There’s also going to be a cultural fashion show. They’re also holding a cultural clothing day at Lincoln High on December 19th by having students wear their cultural clothing to school and will be announced on the announcements to come and get your picture taken. The cost for the show will be $5 for adults, $3 for students and young children will be free. KZK club members will also be selling food and think it would be nice for all the ELL teachers to come together for a fun performance during the show.
