Today, as a part of Lincoln’s First Friday tradition, Lincoln High will unveil The Excellence Project, an exhibit of 50 Portraits of Excellence and an Inside Out sculpture at the NonProfit Hub from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

LHS’s Advanced Photography classes are also displaying their individual projects. Thirty-four students have projects hung on the third floor. Creative Writing classes will also have their writing hung.

During the first Friday of each of the summer months, Lincolnites are encouraged to walk around downtown and enjoy Lincoln’s many art galleries. Galleries are open from 5 pm to 10 pm; it varies from gallery to gallery. The largest network of art galleries is located in downtown Lincoln from 7th to 17th Streets, East to West, and the UNL Campus to the State Capitol, North to South.

The NonProfit Hub is located at 211 N 14th St. in Lincoln, Nebraska. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
