The Lincoln Board of Education directed staff at Lincoln Public Schools to engage with the community during the 2023-2024 school year and outline priorities and measurable goals for a new five-year strategic plan. The preliminary plan was presented on February 27, 2024, with measurable goals approved by the Board on April 23, 2024.
The All Means All Action Plan and the Superintendent’s Transition Plan are the core of the 2024-2029 LPS Strategic Plan and represent the district’s commitment to community input and equitable outcomes.
The four priority areas include student wellbeing and outcomes, staff wellbeing and outcomes, family and community engagement, and district systems and operations.
Working towards the mission of preparing ALL students for successful careers, lifelong learning, and civic engagement, the Board of Education directed staff to develop and present to the board a comprehensive action plan tied to the strategic plan, which includes clear action steps, responsible parties, measurables, and a progress tracking system. Thereafter, an annual fall report on district progress towards the measurables will be presented to the board and made publicly available.
